Michele Bachmann: ‘I don’t judge gays’

Michele Bachmann, fresh from a victory in the Ames, Iowa Straw Poll on Saturday, appeared on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday morning, and was again dogged with questions about her anti-gay platform, this time declaring, “I don’t judge gays.”

Just in case your blood pressure gets dangerously low..

Obviously I dislike her views, but I think what makes me more incensed is that she won’t clearly commit to them. Honestly, you’re running for President of the United States, like you said so many times, so the least you could do is show us that you can state, directly and unequivocally, what you believe. That kinda makes a big deal in politics, being able to say what you want and all.

It’s a clever tactic, beating around the bush like that, but it’s really upsetting in someone who’d not only be my voice in the government, but my nation’s voice in the world. The President of the United States needs to have a voice.

She doesn’t even answer the questions. It is clear that she does not think a familly with same-sex parents can be counted as a family, it is absolutely obvious but still she is padding around, whinging that those questions are coming up obviously being one of the most homophobic people ever but still not admitting it. I can’t say if I hate her views or her cowardness more. She wants to get elected president? So how will she be able to speak up against other nations if she can’t even defend her own (wrong and completely sickening) beliefs? …gosh if I lived in the states I would glitter her. Coward.
